Workplace Wellbeing
Workplace Stress and Burnout
My interactive workplace wellbeing sessions such as Managing Stress & Preventing Burnout, combine practical stress management strategies with solution-focused clinical hypnotherapy to help staff recognise the early signs of overwhelm, build resilience and protect their wellbeing before stress becomes long-term absence.

Today's workplaces are under increasing pressure. Heavy workloads, constant change and competing demands can leave employees feeling overwhelmed, affecting wellbeing, engagement and productivity.

According to the Health and Safety Executive, work-related stress, depression and anxiety account for over half of all work-related ill health in Great Britain.
Testimonials
Feedback from recent sessions has been overwhelmingly positive, with participants describing the experience as relaxing, insightful and practical, and appreciating having dedicated time to pause, reset and learn techniques they can continue using long after the session has ended.
Hello Joy
Thank you very much for providing a beneficial hypnotherapy session for stress in our workplace, xxxxxx Housing Association.
I will most certainly continue use the imagery and techniques experienced during the session.
I felt wonderful immediately after the session and relaxed for the rest of the day.
This was my first time being hypnotised and I felt safe, relaxed and nurtured throughout.
I would definitely recommend and would welcome further sessions with you in the future.
The overall experience was very positive and I believe others in attendance would agree.
Many thanks
Nina

What's the Difference between Anxiety and Burnout?
Anxiety is like driving with your foot constantly hovering over the accelerator because you're expecting danger around every corner.
Burnout is what happens when you've been driving that way for so long that the engine starts overheating. Sometimes you have both: the accelerator is still pressed, but the engine no longer has the power to keep going.
Many people with burnout also develop anxiety, and people with anxiety are more likely to experience burnout because their nervous system is working harder for longer.

Burnout tends to look like:
-
Feeling emotionally and physically exhausted.
-
Waking up tired, even after sleeping.
-
Loss of motivation or enthusiasm.
-
Feeling detached or numb.
-
Becoming cynical or irritable.
-
Difficulty concentrating or "brain fog."
-
Feeling like you have nothing left to give.

Anxiety tends to look like:
-
Constant worry or overthinking.
-
Feeling on edge or unable to relax.
-
Racing thoughts.
-
A sense that something bad might happen.
-
Restlessness.
-
Muscle tension.
-
Panic attacks (for some people).

Where they overlap
Both can cause:
-
Poor sleep
-
Difficulty concentrating
-
Irritability
-
Feeling overwhelmed
-
Digestive problems
-
Fatigue
-
Avoiding situations
